We call these collections of beautiful ceramic succulents and flowers and sea-like creatures “Coral” but we should have just called them “Stunning”. Each Coral piece is handmade and that is reflected in their exquisite detail, each one is a little work of art that is completely unique. They are beautifully crafted and blend beautifully into any home, from modern minimalist and boho chic to country traditional and classic Cape Cod.

When we made the first collection some years ago they were designed as cool tabletop decorations, similar to something we saw in Grandmas curio when we were kids and that we always wanted to sneak home with us. We love using them as coffee table accent pieces; we mix them in with our terrariums and planters for extra colour and texture amidst the foliage.

It wasn’t until a few collections in that we thought, "wouldn't it be cool if they hung on a wall!” The wall art design ideas are innumerable, there is so much room for interior decorating creativity. Go full gluttony and create a massive installation in the living room over your couch. Run a wave of them down your foyer hall. Take an old picture frame and use it to frame-in 3 or 5 pieces above your bed.

Some of the earlier models are tabletop only and some are too small to have the keyhole. For these ones, simply use a Command Strip to hang them.

Branching out from ceramics and clay for the first time, we weren’t sure where we were going to end up when we starting playing with iron as the medium for the Joe pots and saucers. We really wanted to achieve a modern and clean look that could also work in a more traditional environment. We used warm tones of copper and bronze contrasted against textures and subtle patterns in earthy colours like brown, green and mahogany and we hit the nail on head. Each pot has a matching saucer to give them a clean, polished look.

Your plants will feel sophisticated and cool in these planters. Just remember, if you keep your Joe’s in a consistently hot and sunny area make sure you check the soil for dryness a little more frequently than you would for a ceramic planter as the heat with dry it out quicker.
