Ivory Spider Mum

£37.50

Description
In times of crisis, I've found that people develop peculiar attachments to wall art. While my sister spent months creating decor from old buttons and dental floss, my latest obsession – a ceramic carnation in ivory, like January's birth month flower rendered in porcelain perfection – feels almost reasonable. "It's meant for people born in January," I explained to my partner, who caught me studying our wall with the intensity of someone decoding ancient runes. "Though really, it looks more like what would happen if winter decided to bloom and then freeze itself for posterity." The ceramic piece came with a keyhole mount that my mother insists looks like a tiny snow angel from behind. But there's something perfect about its modest size, like it's mastered the art of making a statement in whispers. I hung it on the wall, replacing a dubious attempt at abstract art that might have been hanging upside down for years. The ivory carnation transformed our room from a space where we merely existed into somewhere that felt curated, as if winter herself had taken up interior decorating. Every time I look at it, I imagine it's quietly celebrating its role in elevating our decor from "random wall coverings" to "thoughtfully chosen art," while simultaneously reminding me that I still haven't bought a birthday gift for my January-born cousin.

Superlative Spider - I am totally in love with my Spider blossom! Spider Mums are my favorite flower. They are rare in florist shops and recently I was told if I wanted a dew stems of white spider mums I would need to buy the whole box! Chive Spider Mums, and I have 3 of them, are the center piece of my dining room table. I have a couple other Chive blossoms that are equally at home in my living room. The best part of Chive blossoms is they are beautiful all the time. I highly recommend Chive blossoms.

Love the look and the quality - My husband and I used this in a wall art installation in our greenhouse-themed bathroom. Super easy to put up with the keyholes in the back. They’re high quality and we love the details! The installation looks exactly as hoped—fun and classy.

HOW TO HANG CERAMIC FLOWERS

How to Hang

One discovers these flowers, each bearing a secret: a tiny keyhole nestled in the back, waiting for its destiny. The ritual feels almost predetermined - reaching into that dusty jar of orphaned screws, the ones squirreled away over countless home projects. Those odd bits of metal, collected like precious coins, finally finding their purpose. A quick twist of the drill, and there hangs beauty, supported by hardware whose previous life remains a mystery.
